Orvexa Files is a free application that includes core file management features with optional advertising support in the free version.

1.2 File Access (Local Processing Only)

Orvexa Files accesses device storage only to provide file management features selected and initiated by the user.

• Browse files and folders
• Create folders
• Copy, move, rename, and delete files
• Search and organize local storage
• Open files shared from other applications
• Provide files to other applications when requested by the user
• View images
• Read PDF documents
• Read text-based files
• Preview ZIP archives
• Play supported audio files
• Play supported video files
• Analyze storage usage

All file operations and content processing are performed locally on your device. Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on external servers by Orvexa Files.

1.3 File Scanning and Indexing

The app may scan and index device storage locally to organize files into categories, recent files, search results, storage analysis reports, and duplicate file detection results.

This processing occurs entirely on your device and does not transmit file contents externally.

1.4 Advertising and Device Information

The free version of Orvexa Files may use third-party advertising services such as Start.io.

These services may automatically collect limited information including:

• Advertising ID
• Device identifiers
• Approximate location information
• App interaction and usage information
• Diagnostic and performance information
• Advertising performance data

This information may be used for:

2. Permissions and Justification

• All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to provide comprehensive file management features across device storage, including browsing, organizing, moving, copying, renaming, deleting, searching, storage analysis, and duplicate file detection.
• Media Access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO): Required on supported Android versions to access images, videos, and audio files selected by the user.
• Storage Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required on supported Android versions to browse and manage files stored on the device.
• Internet Access: Required for advertising services, analytics, updates to third-party SDK functionality, and related services used by the free version.
• Advertising ID (AD_ID): Used by advertising providers to display advertisements, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve advertising relevance where permitted.

Permissions are used solely for app functionality, media access, storage management, file sharing, analytics, and advertising support.
